Dutch language survey of Wild animals of the World with rather detailed descriptions, featuring Elephants, Lions, Tigers, Snakes, Buffalo, Eagles and other large birds of Prey, etc. Published as a Premium to subscribers to the second edition of De Aarde en Haar Volken, 1865-1875 (a long running dutch encyclopaedic magazine aboutwonders of the world]. Good to very good complete copy. (spine recently clothbacked, left margin of front cover damaged, NOT touching illustrated area, rather nasty stain and some soiling to lower outer cover, plates crisp and fine).
