(pp. 151 - 173 lower blank margin a small hole caused by stabbing w. a pointed object; lvs G11 &12 righthand margin a few small chips and 1 cm tears 2x each); lower blank margin an unimportant vague spot.). (Upper free endp. and engr. front. righthand margin a bit ruffled, some fraying.). (3 owner's signatures in ink on printed title: 'Godefridi ... 1677'; 'Christophorus Hartmann'; 'Johannes Henricus Becker'). Krivatsy, 13026: mentions the blank p. 47 and 'p. 48 erroneously printed.' B12 has been taken out, no erroneous pagination in our copy, continuing text from p. 46 to 49 through the 'custos' "fer-" on p. 46 to p. 49 "fermentescibills". Comp. G&M 2464 (ed 1659): 'Contains the earliest suggestion that fermentation is an intestinal or internal motion of particles; the analogy between putrefaction and fermentation is also noted.': Comp. also G&M 5020: 'Includes [De Febribus, cap.
