Saint Petrus Canisius (1521 1597) was the first Dutch Jesuit. His "German Catechism" defined the basic principles of Catholicism in the German language and the restoration of Catholicism in Germany after the Reformation (Counter Reformation) is attributed to that work. Complete edition with the appendix at the end of the 4th volume and the supplementary volume bound within vol. III. Each volume, and the appendix, with their own extensive indices.
