Original printed limp wrappers, stapled, Society's logo printed on front cover. 24pp. Two facsim. track-maps printed on a plate after oauthentic egraved sea-charts, one wih legenda, table listing numbers of sailors and marines on on board of the fleet in textk, extensive footnotes/references. Dutch language scholarly assessment based upon origina logs and other printed sources about the very successful voyage and expedition to Angola and Sao Thomé, 30 May 1641-31 October 1641, under command of Admiral Cornelis Corneiszoon Jol who, unfortunately did not survive the expedition. Originally published in the Westindische Gids, re-issued on behalf of members only of the famous Linschoten Vereeniging. Copy bearing two different german nazi registration numbers at rear end, resp. K2597 and K1111. Untrimmed copy. (ront edge foxed, some minimal dog-earing).
