English language cover title with a coloured illustration. Japanese language title (not romanized). Full page coloured plan illustrating Nikko Shrine, 29 detailed monochrome plates, captioned in english and japanese, with tissue guards preserved, illustrating views of In-and exteriors of buildings of Nikko Shrine. Souvenir Album published early 1930s with detailed illustrations of buildings of Nikko Shrine: Nikko Toshogu was built as a shrine and mausoleum to deity Ieyasu Tokugawa (1543-1616), founder of the Tokugawa Shogunate (1603-1868).
