Hftitle (verso blank). 308pp. WITH LOOSELY ADDED, a small-sized (11.5x9.5cm.) invitation-card directed to Miss Jeanne Reyneke van Stuwe (author as a teen-age girl), a 7-line message in ms. in ink by Cadet-Sergeant A. Singels, dated 19 February 1887, to attend a Ball at Concordia Social Club, The Hague. This First edition NOT called-for in Royal Dutch Library, KB. (listing a cheap popular edition of the same date by a different publisher). Dutch language novel set in The Hague, by Jeanne Reyneke van Stuwe, wife to Willem Kloos, a famous dutch poet and literati. Very nice copy in original publ. cloth. Very good copy. (small wormhole on verso of front cover near front-rim, repeated to front-rims of f.e.p. and french title, NOT very disturbing though, spne somewhat sunned, some unobtrusive tiny spots to lower outer cover, contents fine and clean).
